AI Designs

Can you take my AI design and print it out for my helmet?

Great question — and the short answer is: maybe. AI-generated helmet concepts are awesome for inspiration, but they need some work before they're print-ready. Here's exactly what we need and why.

Hard areas we intentionally avoid

The top and bottom of the helmet have complex ridges, so we intentionally design our decals to work around or completely avoid those ridges.

Full-wrap AI concepts need to be simplified

Most AI helmet mockups show an all-over design that wraps the entire shell. This doesn't translate 1:1 to our kit. You'll need to isolate the key graphic elements from each zone and provide them as separate, flat images.

High Resolution

Your file needs to be at least 300 DPI. AI-generated images are often screen-resolution (72–96 DPI) by default, which will look blurry or pixelated when printed.

Decal Functionality

Our kits use individual decals placed in specific zones — they're not helmet wraps. Your design needs to work as a sticker-style graphic, not an all-over illustration that covers the entire shell. Think flat logo, not full paint job.

2

Manageable Size

Bigger isn't always better with decals. Large graphics are harder to apply cleanly, especially around curves. We'll fit your design to our zone templates, but overly large or oddly shaped files may need to be scaled down.

3

White or Transparent Background

No gradients, no black, no helmet-shaped backgrounds. The file should have either a clean white or transparent background so it prints and cuts correctly on our end.

4

One Decal Per File

Submit each graphic as its own separate file. If you have a left side and a right side, that's two files. Bundling multiple graphics into one image makes it impossible to size and position them independently.

Send this Prompt to Your AI Model

"Recreate only the [left side / right side / top / chin] graphic from my design as a single, flat, front-facing illustration on a solid white background. No helmet shape, no shadows, no perspective warp. Style: [describe your design]. As high resolution as possible."
